First day of school....

And time ticks away......only 2 years left and I will have an empty nest. My time is short with my kids.....you don't realize it until you only have 1 left in the nest. Anyone relate out there? Well onto todays post......Card Patterns challenge. I love there sketches.....so easy to work with! For my card I thought I would try some new techniques.....first I mixed 2 different distress crackle paints together to match my pp.....so easy to do....a little of each on a pallet mix and paint. Then I did some inking on the tag and dropped with water and heat with a heat gun. Then embossed image with distress ink. I really like the effect....what about you? Do you like trying new things?
